We'll I guess some of your don't know my love for music, all kinds of music!!! It's the one thing that has been there for me in good times and bad. I have all my old favorite of course but thrive on all the new energy and my young friends to keep me tuned in to the "good stuff" of today.

What to read...

I've started shelving -- discovered Good Reads and I have a few friends now. This looks like fun and I can see what everyone else is reading and the reviews are from people just like me. Good Reads was fairly easy for me to set-up. I can't find time to read a lot (I know this sounds crazy since I'm surrounded by books everyday at work). But when I do read I like non-fiction! I like "how-to books" and biographies, travel, history etc.

Spring is my favorite season. Everything comes to life!!! Some things start ever so slowly, their eyes peeking through the surrounding foliage while wiping the dew from their faces while othering seem to jump out and say look at me in all my beauty. Green, green everywhere.

Okay, so we're all having fun together. I best get the "ball" rolling to see if I can keep up the pace with my fellow co-workers. It's great to come together sharing ideas to make our jobs easier, etc. on training day and now to follow through with people doing the 23 things and exploring what is out there and how to make it work for us. The blogs I've had a chance to read are both informative as well as entertaining.

Ok, I have been circling in the world of bloglines -- I had trouble getting the validation to come through, etc....even though when I would go into subscibe it said I was already there...anyway I somehow found a way around and I created some feeds fairly easily and read alot, however, I couldn't seem to get feeds to my tester blogger friends, sooooo. I consulted with a fellow tester and went a different route now I have access to everyone. RSS does offer a lot to read and I find myself drowning in words...I did enjoy the news from around the world, and NASA was very interesting...of course I needed to know about food!

I've created my blog for Thing #3. Creating the blog was easy, I think anyone with limited experience would be successful in accomplishing this piece. I've read blogs and have been curious about how to create and maintain but never took the time to investigate the "how to" for making it happen.

Good day!

Can you tell I know nothing about what I'm doing--but I'm having a great time. Choosing a date for my goals is hard for me.

I find that viewing problem as challenges is easy for me.

I like teaching/mentoring others if I am confident in what I am teaching or sharing.

Thing # 2 Lifelong Learning

I find in the steps of Lifelong Learning 1 and 6 to be the hardest for me. It's hard for me to begin with the end result in mind hard to wrap my head around that thought. I'm amazed constantly at technology but there is so much out there and it keeps changing at such a fast pace I can't stay in the race.
